Electronic Arts details EA Sports FC 27 gameplay and PC specs

Electronic Arts has announced new details regarding the upcoming EA Sports FC 27, focusing on gameplay stability and technical enhancements for PC players.

To address long-standing player criticism regarding frequent balance changes following a game's release, EA has pledged to avoid fundamental gameplay shifts in the initial weeks after launch. The company stated that they intend to allow players time to master new mechanics and team builds before implementing major updates, aiming to preserve the original intended gameplay feel. While some targeted corrections from the closed testing phase will be included at launch, the studio aims for a more measured approach to post-release patches.

For the PC version, EA has introduced several graphical and technical upgrades. These include expanded raytracing options for ambient occlusion, global illumination, and dynamic shadows. The game will also support modern upscaling technologies such as Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS, alongside DirectStorage for faster loading times.

Minimum system requirements include an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 8 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 570. For recommended performance, EA suggests an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, 16 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. An SSD is required for the game.
