Electronic Arts has officially unveiled EA SPORTS FC 27 during a world premiere event in New York City. The event, which drew over 2.6 million cumulative views and a peak of 276,000 concurrent viewers, featured football legends such as Zlatan Ibrahimović, Thierry Henry, and Luís Figo participating in gameplay demonstrations.

Key features introduced include ‘The Grounds’, a new social football space designed for team customization and community interaction. The game is scheduled for a global release on September 25, 2026. Players who purchased the Ultimate or Ultimate Plus editions can access the game early starting September 18.

Various access options are available, including a ‘Lite’ version that allows players to test core mechanics and tutorials for free without a time limit. Additionally, EA Play subscribers can access a 10-hour trial of the full game. Release timings for early access vary by platform, with PC players receiving a global simultaneous unlock, while console players typically gain access at their local midnight.
