Eleusina teen gang arrested after four violent robberies in three days

In the suburb of Eleusina, Greece, a group of 14‑ and 15‑year‑old youths carried out four attacks on fellow school‑age children within three days. Victims reported being surrounded, verbally threatened, beaten with sticks and robbed of money and personal items. Parents described the assaults, noting injuries such as bruises and facial bleeding.

Police from the Eleusina Security Department responded by arresting two of the alleged perpetrators and their parents on charges of neglecting child supervision. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage to identify additional gang members and to build a fuller case against the youth group.

The incident has raised community alarm over rising juvenile crime, prompting calls for stronger protective measures for minors in the area.
