Eleven men arrested in Indiana child predator sting

Eleven men were arrested following a three-day undercover sting operation targeting online child predators in central Indiana. The operation, conducted between September 22 and September 24, was led by the Hamilton County Internet Crimes Against Children Metro Task Force with assistance from police departments in Greenwood, Westfield, and Lebanon.

Investigators stated that the suspects traveled to the Westfield area to meet individuals they believed were young girls, with the intent to commit sexual abuse. The task force noted that digital evidence and admissions from the suspects confirmed their intent.

The arrested individuals include residents of Indianapolis, Carmel, Logansport, and Irving, Texas. Charges range from child solicitation and sexual misconduct with a minor to the dissemination of harmful material to minors and resisting law enforcement.
