Željko Komšić commemorates death of Zama Dučić

Željko Komšić, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, attended a ceremony marking the 32nd anniversary of the death of Zama Dučić. The commemoration included laying wreaths and flowers at a monument on the Nišić plateau in Jasen to honor Dučić and his comrades.

Dučić was a commander of the 101st Motorized Brigade's Maneuver Battalion and a recipient of the ‘Golden Lily’ war decoration. During his address, Komšić recalled his time serving in the area with the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and spoke about the impact Dučić's death had on his unit. Komšić emphasized the importance of preserving these memories for younger generations, stating that the defense of the country was made possible by such individuals.
