Elk Range Mining Limited has announced the successful completion of its maiden diamond drill hole, 26FRD001, at the Friday Gold Project in Idaho, USA. The drill hole reached a final depth of 336.8 metres, extending approximately 200 metres beyond previous historical drilling in the area.
The company reported visible gold occurrences at multiple depths, including 124.1 metres, 138.7 metres, 159.9 metres, and 233.8 metres. One notable occurrence at 233.8 metres was identified as a veinlet exceeding 1cm in width. The drilling also provided the project with its first structural dataset directly linked to the observed gold mineralization.
First assay results from the 26FRD001 drilling are expected between late October and early November 2026. A second drill hole, 26FRD002, is currently underway with 24-hour operations in effect.
