Ella Langley cancels Tulsa concert due to security threat

Country music singer Ella Langley canceled her sold-out concert at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Friday, October 9, due to a serious security threat. The decision was made approximately two hours before the scheduled start of the performance.

Authorities reported receiving a phone call warning of potential violence, specifically mentioning gunfire and bombs. Following the report, the Tulsa Police Department conducted multiple sweeps of the arena using K-9 units and bomb-detection dogs. While police officials stated they found no credible threat and did not advise the cancellation, Langley and her team ultimately decided to call off the show to prioritize the safety of fans, venue staff, and crew.

Langley expressed her deep regret on social media, noting that the decision was “incredibly difficult” and that she refused to put anyone in harm’s way. The BOK Center also issued a statement emphasizing that the well-being of those involved was the absolute priority. Information regarding ticket refunds is expected to be released soon. The FBI is reportedly assisting with the investigation into the threat.
