Montenegrin officials and diplomats are emphasizing the country's commitment to European Union accession and regional cooperation. Vice President Filip Ivanović held a briefing in Warsaw for EU and regional ambassadors, stating that EU enlargement is a vital tool for stability and unity amidst geopolitical challenges. He noted that Montenegro's successful accession would serve as a credible signal to other candidate nations.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović met with EU Ambassador Johan Satler to discuss the momentum of the accession process. They reviewed the outcomes of the EU-Western Balkans Summit in Tivat and preparations for the Berlin Process. Satler commended Montenegro's progress and the steady pace of closing negotiation chapters, noting the country's opportunity to utilize current political momentum to reach membership, potentially by 2028.

Former Prime Minister Igor Lukšić also highlighted the importance of Montenegro's EU path, noting that the country has closed more than half of its negotiation chapters. He suggested that Montenegro's progress is a critical test for the EU's own commitment to its enlargement policy.

In a separate diplomatic development, the Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro, Boban Stanišić, met with the Secretary General of the Moroccan House of Representatives, Najib El Kadij, to exchange expertise on parliamentary administration and enhance institutional cooperation.
