ELTA launches 5 million euro digital transformation project

ELTA is launching a 5 million euro digital transformation project aimed at modernizing its operations and reducing operating costs. The initiative, titled ‘Retail & Delivery Transformation Initiative – Integrated Retail Systems & Delivery Control Tower and Track & Trace Solutions’, seeks to create a unified technological platform. This platform will connect retail branch functions with the entire logistics, tracking, and delivery chain for mail and parcels.

The project is currently in the preliminary consultation stage, with consultations expected to conclude by September 10, 2026. The funding for this digital overhaul will be provided by ELTA itself. This restructuring is viewed as a critical response to the decline in traditional mail and increasing competition from private delivery companies.
