Apple opens high-tech music venue at Battersea Power Station

Apple is opening the Apple Music Hall, a high-tech, 600-seat live music venue located within London’s redeveloped Battersea Power Station. Scheduled to officially begin its programming on September 28, 2026, the venue will be inaugurated by Elton John.

Designed to function as both an intimate concert space and a professional production facility, the hall features a reconfigurable 11.6-meter stage and a 48-speaker spatial audio system. The facility includes two professional recording and mixing studios behind the stage, along with a broadcast control room capable of supporting over 16 cameras and simultaneous iPhone video capture. This infrastructure allows performances to be recorded in multi-track formats and mixed into spatial audio for global live streaming via Apple Music.

The inaugural concert series through December includes artists such as Baby Keem, Skye Newman, Troye Sivan, Arlo Parks, Burna Boy, Chase & Status, and Charli xcx. The venue is part of the broader Battersea Power Station urban regeneration project, which has transformed the historic landmark into a mixed-use hub for residential, commercial, and public spaces.
