Emanuele Atturo wins the Invictus Sports Literary Prize

Emanuele Atturo has won the 7th edition of the Invictus Sports Literary Prize for his work, ‘Il mito dei bomber di provincia’. The award, organized by publisher Lab DFG, has become a significant recognition for sports culture in Italy.

The ceremony, held at Palazzo Caetani in Cisterna di Latina, featured a jury presided over by Paralympic athlete Luca Pancalli. A special award, the ‘Davide Tizzano – L’ottimismo della volontà’, was established in memory of the late Olympic rower and was presented to Giovanni Malagò.

Additional honors included special recognitions for Olympic and Paralympic legends Valentina Vezzali and Paola Fantato, as well as Cisterna Volley. The event also featured ‘ExtraInvictus’ mentions selected by media partners, highlighting various books focused on storytelling and human endurance within sports.
