Overview

Italy has hosted significant literary awards focused on the intersection of sports and culture.

The 7th edition of the Invictus Sports Literary Prize was held at Palazzo Caetani in Cisterna di Latina. Organized by publisher Lab DFG and presided over by Luca Pancalli, the award was given to Emanuele Atturo for his work, ‘Il mito dei bomber di provincia’. The ceremony also included the ‘Davide Tizzano – L’ottimismo della volontà’ special award, presented to Giovanni Malagò, and honors for figures such as Valentina Vezzali and Paola Fantato.

Additionally, the 12th edition of the ‘Memo Geremia’ Sports Literary Prize held its official presentation in Rome at the Confcommercio headquarters. Organized by Confcommercio Padova, this award honors the memory of Italian rugby figure Memo Geremia and aims to build a national presence in recognizing prominent sporting figures.
