Mistral AI and HUMAIN partner for Saudi AI; Microsoft joins HUMAIN

Mistral AI and HUMAIN, a Saudi Arabian artificial intelligence company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), have entered a strategic partnership valued at several hundred million euros. The collaboration focuses on developing and deploying sovereign AI technologies, including advanced infrastructure and localized frontier models, specifically designed for Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region. Initial efforts will prioritize cybersecurity, voice technologies, and high-performance Arabic language models.

Simultaneously, HUMAIN has established a long-term strategic collaboration with Microsoft. This partnership aims to integrate HUMAIN’s ALLAM Arabic-language models into the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Foundry. The initiative will involve joint engineering teams to support organizations in the identification, development, and deployment of high-value AI solutions. The collaboration seeks to accelerate AI adoption across enterprise and government sectors by providing specialized agents and tools tailored to regional business requirements and linguistic nuances.
