Embraer delivers first E195-E2 jet to LATAM Airlines Brazil

Embraer has delivered the first E195-E2 aircraft to LATAM Airlines Brazil, marking the beginning of a larger order for up to 74 jets. The airline expects to receive 12 of these aircraft by the end of 2026.

LATAM plans to begin operations with the new model between November 2026 and March 2027. During the initial phase, 14 E195-E2s will be deployed across 42 routes, introducing four new destinations to the network: Cabo Frio (RJ), Ji-Paraná (RO), Macaé (RJ), and Rondonópolis (MT). This expansion is part of a strategy to increase fleet flexibility and connectivity, with the goal of serving more than 70 airports in Brazil by 2027.

Embraer CEO Francisco Gomes Neto stated that the aircraft will play a vital role in the company’s strategy to expand connectivity through operational efficiency and comfort.
