Embraer expands aircraft portfolio with new E195‑E2 for LATAM and triple‑certified Praetor 500E

LATAM Airlines Group revealed the cabin layout of its upcoming Embraer E195‑E2 narrow‑body jets, which will begin operating with LATAM Airlines Brasil in the last quarter of 2026. The aircraft will seat 136 passengers in a 2‑2 configuration, offering Premium Economy and Economy sections, USB‑C power outlets, satellite‑based Wi‑Fi and a streaming entertainment platform. Vice‑president of Customers Paulo Miranda said the new model will provide “the same trusted LATAM experience with added comfort and connectivity.”

Separately, Embraer announced that its Praetor 500E business jet obtained simultaneous certification from Brazil’s ANAC, the U.S. FAA and Europe’s EASA, allowing global market entry. The Praetor 500E features a redesigned cabin, a range of 6,186 km for four passengers, fly‑by‑wire flight controls, an enhanced vision system and other advanced avionics. President and CEO Michael Amalfitano called the triple certification “a clear proof of our engineering excellence and disciplined execution.”
