Embraer Phenom 300EV receives triple certification

Embraer has received triple certification for its Phenom 300EV light business jet from Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The Phenom 300EV is notable for being the first light jet approved with the Garmin Autoland system. This safety feature allows the aircraft to automatically select an airport, communicate with air traffic control, and land without pilot intervention if the pilot becomes incapacitated.

Technical upgrades for this model include an increased range of 2,055 nautical miles, autobrake, and rudder-by-wire capabilities. The aircraft will also feature Gogo Galileo low Earth orbit satellite connectivity, with Starlink available as an optional addition. Customer deliveries are expected to begin in 2028.
