Emergency response agencies in Peru and Mexico hold training programs
The National Institute of Civil Defense (INDECI) in Peru has launched the second Basic Incident Command System course. This training is designed to strengthen the operational capabilities of personnel responsible for managing emergencies and incidents. The program focuses on providing technical tools for organized, timely, and coordinated responses, including decision-making processes and resource management through practical case studies and scenario simulations.
In Pachuca, Mexico, the Second International Operations 360 Congress was held to professionalize emergency services. The event hosted over 400 attendees from 12 Mexican states, 41 municipalities in Hidalgo, and a delegation of firefighters from Colombia. The congress featured international keynote lectures, specialized workshops, and international certifications aimed at improving disaster response and incident management techniques.
