Leeuwarden bowling center destroyed in major fire

A major fire destroyed a bowling center and restaurant located at the Kalverdijkje in Leeuwarden during the early hours of Sunday, September 20. The blaze, which was upgraded to a 'very large fire' by emergency services, required a significant response including multiple fire officers and hazardous materials advisors.
