Emilia Koprowska disappearance: Police face challenges in Darłowo investigation

Authorities are investigating the disappearance of 37-year-old Emilia Koprowska, who went missing on August 30 in Darłowo, Poland, following a techno music festival. While police have recovered her phone and backpack, investigators have not yet been able to bypass the security locks on her mobile device, which could contain critical information regarding her whereabouts.

The investigation faces significant challenges due to the spread of misinformation. A Facebook group created by the missing woman's husband has become a hub for various claims, many of which are false. Ewa Dziadczyk, spokesperson for the Koszalin District Prosecutor's Office, stated that these inaccuracies are a “big problem” because they force police to divert time, resources, and personnel to verify false leads.

Koprowska was last seen near a hotel after being dropped off by a taxi driver. She was reportedly distressed and crying at the time. She is described as having a slim build, green eyes, and chestnut or brown hair, with distinctive tattoos including a Pisces sign on the right side of her body and the name “KRYSTIAN” on her right hand or finger.
