Disappearance of Emilia Koprowska in Poland

Overview

The search for 37-year-old Emilia Koprowska, who disappeared in Darłowo on August 30, 2026, following a techno festival, has intensified. Initial reports indicated Koprowska vanished after an argument with her husband, Krystian. Witnesses, including a taxi driver, described her as being in a “highly distressed and tearful state” and mentioned an aggressive man and a damaged vehicle.

As the investigation progressed, authorities recovered a damaged mobile phone believed to belong to Koprowska. Specialists are working to extract data from the device to reconstruct her final hours. Investigators are also analyzing statements from her husband, though he has not been charged with a crime. A message sent around 10:30 PM on the night of her disappearance reportedly had a “farewell character.”

Search operations have expanded to include police, service dogs, drones, and the Maritime Search and Rescue Service conducting inspections along the Baltic Sea coast. The Rutkowski Bureau has also announced a reward of 50,000 PLN for information leading to her discovery.
