Emilia Koprowska disappearance: police recover phone and backpack
The disappearance of 37-year-old Emilia Koprowska from Koszalin remains unresolved nearly four weeks after she was last seen in Darłowo on August 30, 2026. The incident occurred following a confrontation between Koprowska and her husband, Krystian Koprowski, during a techno music festival. During the argument, Koprowski admitted to puncturing her car tire.
Following the dispute, Koprowska was reportedly seen by a taxi driver near a hotel in a distressed state. Since then, she has not been in contact with her family. Investigators have recently recovered her phone and a backpack containing personal items and keys to her home and vehicle. Police have resumed extensive search operations in the area, though they have declined to confirm specific details regarding the investigation.
Krystian Koprowski has been active on social media, managing a group dedicated to the search. He addressed questions regarding a final, alarming SMS sent by his wife, which reportedly read: ‘I love you, they won’t find me. It has to be this way. It was always only you. Goodbye.’ Koprowski stated that over time, he stopped perceiving such messages as alarms. The authenticity of the message has not been publicly verified by authorities.
