Emilia-Romagna allocates 10 million euros for industrial innovation

The Emilia-Romagna region has announced a nearly 10 million euro support package to bolster seven new business programs focused on research, development, and innovation. This initiative aims to catalyze over 108 million euros in total investments and is expected to create more than 150 new jobs.

The funded projects span several high-tech sectors, including advanced logistics, artificial intelligence, industrial automation, sustainable mobility, and hydrogen-powered engines. Regional President Michele de Pascale and Vice President Vincenzo Colla presented the measure in Bologna, noting its role in strengthening the competitiveness of the regional production system.

In a related development regarding the regional maritime sector, officials visited the Quick Group headquarters in Ravenna to discuss the expansion of the ‘Nautica Valley’. Quick Group, a global leader in yacht and superyacht equipment, was highlighted as a key player in this initiative, which seeks to integrate research, specialized training, and industrial expertise to strengthen the regional nautical supply chain.
