Emirates announces double Miles promotion and upgrade options

Emirates Skywards has announced a promotional period from September 15 to 30, during which members can earn double Miles on flights operated by both Emirates and flydubai. To participate, members must register, book, and fly to global destinations within the specified timeframe. The 100% bonus applies to various fare types, including Emirates ‘Special’, ‘Saver’, ‘Flex’, and ‘Flex Plus’ across Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class cabins. On flydubai, the bonus is available for Economy and Business class cabins.

Separately, travelers looking to access Emirates First Class may find success through cabin upgrades. While recent airline restrictions have made booking First Class directly with miles more difficult by requiring airline status, Emirates still allows passengers to upgrade by one cabin using miles. This option remains available for both cash and mileage-based bookings and can even be requested at the check-in desk on the day of departure, provided there is availability in the higher cabin.
