Emirates unveils new Premium Economy Class with electric privacy partitions
Emirates has unveiled a new Premium Economy Class product featuring what it describes as the world's first electrically adjustable privacy partitions. These partitions can be raised or lowered via integrated seat controls, allowing passengers to choose between increased privacy or proximity to travel companions.
The new seating configuration offers a 99cm pitch and includes several technological upgrades, such as wireless charging, USB-C ports at every seat, and mobile phone holders integrated into the tray tables. Passengers will also have access to 13.3-inch screens with 4K-HDR resolution and the U-Dream headrest design.
This updated product will initially be deployed exclusively on newly delivered Airbus A350 aircraft.
