Emlak Katılım applies to acquire Katılımevim and Birevim

Emlak Katılım has officially submitted applications to regulatory authorities to acquire Katılımevim, Birevim, and İktisat Katılım Bankası. The bank announced via the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that progress has been made in negotiations following previous discussions.

To finalize the share transfer, necessary permits and approvals have been requested from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance's General Directorate of Public Enterprises, the Capital Markets Board (SPK), and the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK). The companies aim to complete the transfer as soon as the required regulatory permissions are granted.

Katılımevim has informed its customers that while the transfer process is ongoing, there will be no interruptions to current services. The company stated that it intends to continue its operations in the savings finance sector, noting that the transition aims to strengthen its position by leveraging Emlak Katılım’s institutional experience.
