Emmanuel Macron popularity hits record low of 15% in France

French President Emmanuel Macron has reached a historic low in popularity, with an Ipsos BVA-Cesi poll reporting only 15% favorability. This decline occurs amid student protests, rising fuel prices, and intense budget debates. The President's approval rating has dropped from 16% the previous month, leaving 82% of citizens with an unfavorable view of his leadership.

Public concern is heavily focused on economic stability. Purchasing power is the primary worry for 54% of respondents, followed by the future of the social welfare system at 44% and national debt at 33%.

In the search for potential successors, far-right leaders Jordan Bardella (33%) and Marine Le Pen (32%) remain the most popular, though both saw slight decreases in favorability following reports regarding past social media activity. Former Prime Minister Édouard Philippe follows with 20% favorability. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu saw a marginal increase in support, rising to 22%.
