Employment initiatives expand opportunities for people with disabilities in Brazil

Various initiatives in Brazil are focusing on increasing employment opportunities for people with disabilities (PcD). In Maringá, Vitru Educação is hosting the 4th edition of 'Inclui Day' on September 11. The event offers approximately 300 job openings in both in-person and remote formats, covering roles such as assistants, technicians, tutors, professors, and analysts. To ensure accessibility, sign language interpreters will be available for both physical and online participants.

In Paulínia, the Inclusive Employability Hub (PEI) has released its service calendar for the remainder of the year. This program, a partnership between the Paulínia City Hall and the state of São Paulo, provides free assistance to individuals aged 15 and older. Using the 'Supported Employment' methodology, the program helps candidates identify skills and interests to facilitate market entry, while also assisting companies interested in expanding their inclusive workforce.
