Centre‑right leaders gather in Montefredane to outline 2027 election programme
On 26‑27 June the Castello Caracciolo in Montefredane hosted the two‑day forum “Le iniziative del centrodestra per vincere nel 2027”, organised by Senator Francesco Pionati. The event opened with remarks from Mayor Ciro Aquino and a presentation by Pionati, followed by a debate featuring senior figures from Lega, UDC, Fratelli d’Italia, Sud Chiama Nord and Forza Italia. Sessions focused on development policies for the Mezzogiorno, the role of a unified ZES (Special Economic Zone) for the South’s revival, and the contribution of local administrations and businesses. Prominent guests included Confindustria Campania chief Emilio De Vizia, legal adviser Carmine De Angelis, Federmanager’s Enzo Russo and Eutalia president Luigi Barone. The programme concluded with a public interview of Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, conducted by Pionati, and a showcase of successful municipal models from across the region.
