Jesi launches major upgrades to Pirani field and Carotti stadium

The municipality of Jesi has begun works at the Pirani sports field, replacing the entire synthetic grass surface, installing an automatic irrigation system, upgrading all sports equipment and adding new drainage wells. The Carotti stadium will undergo a similar resurfacing of its grass pitch in the coming week. The projects are part of a broader municipal programme to improve local sport facilities, including a temporary use agreement with the Province of Ancona for the external area of the Liceo Scientifico “L. da Vinci”, the addition of the Liceo’s gym to the list of public gyms, and minor works on the former “ex‑palascherma” and Zannoni gyms. Together the investments aim to provide safer, higher‑quality venues for both grassroots and competitive sports in Jesi.
