Overview

July 2026 saw continued rollout of Italy’s inclusive health and disability agenda. The Community Hospital and Casa della Comunità opened in Larino, Molise, financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The facility delivers 20 low‑intensity beds, a 50‑bed rehabilitation unit (orthopaedic and neurological) and a 40‑bed residential wing for Alzheimer’s and high‑needs patients, plus outpatient, primary‑care, paediatric and integrated home‑care services.
