Empordà and Girona regions host various cultural festivals

Various cultural activities and festivals are taking place across the Empordà, Costa Brava, and Girona regions in Catalonia.

On Saturday, August 22, events include the Winterreise concert at the Escala Music Festival in Sant Martí d’Empúries and the conclusion of F’estiu in Calonge with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band. In Setcases, the Vespreig festival concludes with Miquel Abras, while Tortellà hosts La Crema de Tortellà to commemorate historical events. Pals is hosting the Industrial Market at Torre Mora, featuring workshops and magic shows.

On Sunday, August 23, the 44th edition of the Ésdansa Festival de les Preses concludes, alongside the final performances of Nits de Circ in Roses. Musical events include Adama Foune Cissokho in Olot and Clara Bonfilla in Peralada. Additionally, the Industrial Market continues in Pals with various workshops and musical performances. Several towns, including Torroella de Montgrí and Vulpellac, are also celebrating local patron saint festivals.
