Brazil's Enare residency exam registration deadline set for July 15
The Exame Nacional de Residência (Enare) 2026/2027 opens registration for candidates who need a prerequisite year or prior health‑area residency. All applications must be submitted online by 23:59 on Wednesday 15 July.
The fee is R$ 330 for most specialties (some programs charge R$ 220‑330) and must be paid by 17 July, with exemptions possible for eligible applicants. The exam will be held on 13 September in 60 Brazilian cities, offering 14,239 residency slots across 310 institutions.
Enare aims to democratize access to medical and multiprofessional residency positions, includes a quota for people with disabilities, and allows transgender, transsexual and travesti candidates to request recognition by their social name.
