MotoGP rider Enea Bastianini has confirmed his move to the Aprilia satellite team via Trackhouse. The transfer was finalized following the expiration of a contractual option held by KTM on July 1.

Bastianini cited two primary reasons for the decision: the increasing competitiveness of the Aprilia RS-GP, which has risen to rival Ducati, and a lack of affinity with the KTM machinery. He noted that he perceived the potential of the Aprilia during winter testing and felt it was the best choice for his career progression.

Bastianini also praised the structure and motivation of the Trackhouse team, specifically mentioning his discussions with Justin Marks. The move comes as part of a broader roster shift for the Aprilia group, which will also see Pecco Bagnaia joining the factory team.
