Energocom secures gas transport capacity for Moldova's 2026‑27 winter season

Energocom has taken part in the annual auction for gas transport capacity at the Ungheni interconnection point, reserving rights for the period 1 Oct 2026 – 30 Sep 2027. The auction offered 57.436 thousand MWh per day for the Ungheni‑outbound flow (into Transgaz’s network) and 58.436 thousand MWh per day for the inbound flow; suppliers booked roughly 41.4 % and 38.6 % of the available capacity respectively.

The company says the advance reservations enable more efficient supply planning for the Republic of Moldova and allow access to more favourable transport tariffs. Energocom monitors regional natural‑gas prices daily and will adjust its procurement strategy according to market conditions.
