Energy and mobility firms secure major funding rounds

Several companies in the energy and mobility sectors have secured significant funding. Form Energy, an iron-air battery systems provider, raised $750 million in a Series G round led by T. Rowe Price, bringing its total equity funding to over $2 billion.

Hydrostor, which develops compressed air energy storage systems, secured a $230 million equity investment involving the Canada Growth Fund, Goldman Sachs Alternatives, and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

In India, the Motilal Oswal Group committed ₹15 billion (approximately $157.20 million) to Inox Clean Energy to support growth and inorganic initiatives.

In the public markets, electrolytic copper foil manufacturer Londian Wason raised $94.3 million through an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. Additionally, electric mobility-as-a-service firm Yulu raised $93 million in a Series C funding round led by GEF Capital Partners.
