Energy storage companies expand global project orders and deployments

Several energy storage and renewable energy companies have announced significant new project orders and technological deployments across global markets.

Trina Storage has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Japanese clean energy platform AMP-lify to supply approximately 1 GWh of energy storage systems in Japan. The agreement includes the supply of Elementa 3 series systems and technical support tailored to Japanese land and transportation constraints. In China, WeLion New Energy has deployed 40 MWh of hybrid semi-solid-state battery cells for a large-scale project in Xinjiang. Additionally, Skyworth Energy Storage has deployed a 2.09 MWh commercial and industrial storage project in Vietnam.

In Europe, Fortis Energy has entered into an agreement with Schletter Group to provide solar mounting systems for more than 300 MW of solar-plus-storage projects scheduled for 2027. This partnership covers structural design, delivery, and installation planning. Fortis Energy is also advancing utility-scale solar projects in Southeast Europe, including a 75 MW plant in Albania and a 270 MW facility in Serbia.
