Engelhelms celebrates 750th anniversary with community festivities

The district of Engelhelms in Künzell celebrated its 750th anniversary with a weekend of community events, music, and local challenges. The festivities included a formal commemorative event supported by the Loreley Engelhelms men's choir and various family-oriented activities.

A major highlight was a concert by the band Dorfrocker, which performed for a large crowd in a festival tent. Additionally, the celebration featured community bets, including a successful attempt by 750 residents to earn the German Sports Badge, fulfilling a challenge set by Parliamentary State Secretary Michael Brand.
