England vs Croatia World Cup clash in Dallas

England and Croatia will face each other in their opening group match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on 17 June at a stadium in Dallas, Texas. The game is seen as pivotal for both sides, with England’s coach having made eleven substitutions in a recent warm‑up against Costa Rica and analysts debating the starting lineup, including the possible inclusion of Anthony Gordon, Jude Bellingham and others.

Ahead of the match, Croatia’s foreign ministry and its Los Angeles consulate are organising a fan programme in Dallas. The Tajči and Ante Gelo Band will perform in the official FIFA fan zone on the day before and the day after the game, while promotional videos showcasing Croatia’s culture, natural scenery and sporting achievements will be shown on large screens. The consulate will temporarily relocate to Arlington’s Ambassador Row, close to the venue, to support Croatian supporters.
