Generative Bionics partners with Eni for industrial humanoid robotics

Generative Bionics, an Italian deep-tech startup specializing in humanoid robots powered by Physical AI, has entered into a strategic partnership with the energy giant Eni. The memorandum of understanding aims to explore industrial applications for humanoid robots within Eni’s operational environments, focusing on tasks such as inspection, remote teleoperation, and assistance in complex settings to enhance safety and efficiency.

In addition to the Eni agreement, the company has established a collaboration with Fincantieri to utilize its robotic technology in welding lines. Italian Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, recently visited the company’s headquarters in Genoa to witness a demonstration of the Gene. 01 humanoid platform. Urso emphasized the strategic importance of humanoid robotics for the Italian industrial system and the country's potential to become a global leader in Physical AI.
