Enna Vilai selected for Kaia International Film Festival in Turkey

The socio-political family thriller ‘Enna Vilai’, directed by Sajeev Pazhoor, has been officially selected for the Kaia International Film Festival in Istanbul, Turkey. The film stars Nimisha Sajayan and Karunas in lead roles.

This selection follows the film’s previous recognition as Best Feature Film at the Mannheim Arts and Film Festival in Germany. Produced by Kalamaya Films, the movie is scheduled for a theatrical release in September 2026. During its production, the filmmakers honored the local community in Paalam village, Dhanushkodi, by allowing the villagers to participate in the unveiling of the film’s first look.
