Enric Auquer discusses role in ‘Cronos’ about 2017 Catalonia attacks

The film covers the sequence of events beginning with the explosion in Alcanar, the mass attack on La Rambla, the subsequent attack in Cambrils, and the death of the perpetrator, Younes Abouyaaqoub.

Regarding his portrayal, Auquer shared mixed feelings about the Mossos d'Esquadra, noting criticisms of the force's handling of protests and accountability. However, he acknowledged that within the corps, there are agents committed to ethical and democratic policing who strive to perform their duties effectively.
