Enrico Brignano headlines the 38th Premio Charlot in Salerno
The 38th edition of the Premio Charlot took place on September 25 at the Teatro Verdi in Salerno. The event featured a musical performance by the Montecarlo Big Band, directed by Maestro Angelo Abate, which performed a 90-minute set spanning Italian and international classics with pop, funk, disco, and dance arrangements.
Due to health reasons, Roberto Vecchioni was unable to perform, leading to a change in the evening's program. The special guest of the night was Enrico Brignano, who received the ‘Grandi Protagonisti dello Spettacolo’ award. During a dialogue with journalist Cinzia Ugatti, Brignano discussed themes of fame, the impact of social media, family, and his respect for his late mentor Gigi Proietti. He also performed a monologue titled ‘L’uomo che salvò il mondo’.
