Ensenada and Bilbao host major cultural and gastronomic festivals

Ensenada will host the 2026 Margarita Festival on August 29 at the Riviera Social, Civic, and Cultural Center to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the cocktail's creation. The event, which features free admission, includes gastronomic offerings, eight cocktail bars, a preparation workshop, and various cultural and musical performances, including a tribute by the Baja California Orchestra.

In Spain, the Aste Nagusia festivities in Bilbao include a diverse schedule of community activities. Highlights include a rice cooking contest, a local producers' market, and musical tributes to bands such as Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine, and System of a Down. The program also features sports, such as 3x3 basketball, and culinary competitions like a plant-based pisto contest.
