Entre Ríos government promotes dairy good practices program
The provincial government of Entre Ríos is advancing its Good Dairy Practices (BPL) program to enhance production and quality within the local dairy chain. Officials from the Ministry of Economic Development recently visited the Lácteos LW dairy farm in Espinillo Norte, Paraná department, to certify its participation in the program.
Minister Guillermo Bernaudo announced the installation of the first signage for the 2026 edition of the program, which currently includes 32 participating dairy farms and six undergoing slurry quality testing. The initiative provides producers with specialist assistance to conduct diagnoses of milk, water, soil, and effluents, allowing for individualized improvement plans.
To support these upgrades, the program offers training and financial tools, such as 'Valor Producto' credits, which allow for limits of up to 30,000 liters of milk per farm. The goal is to optimize daily routines and management through better record-keeping and technical oversight.
