Entre Ríos launches school infrastructure and port development projects
The government of Entre Ríos is implementing several infrastructure projects focused on education and logistics. In Diamante, Governor Rogelio Frigerio supervised the start of a 2,000 million peso restoration project for the historic Escuela N° 1 Independencia. Other educational works include a 781 million peso renovation of the José María Texier school in San Salvador, which will serve 570 students, and a 41 million peso waterproofing project at the Escuela Normal Superior N° 14 in Gualeguaychú to benefit over 1,500 students.
Additionally, Governor Frigerio visited the Port of Diamante to highlight the province's logistical potential. He noted that Entre Ríos manages approximately 90 percent of Argentina's fluvial grain cabotage. The administration is working with the private sector and participating in the waterway (hidrovía) to stimulate economic activity and job creation through port development.
