Entre Ríos hosts national wine tourism congress in Paraná
The VI National Wine Tourism Conference and the First Regional Congress of Viticulture, Wine Tourism, and Gastronomy were held in Paraná, Entre Ríos. The event brought together 600 participants and representatives from 11 Argentine provinces to discuss the growth of emerging viticultural regions.
During the sessions, 27 wineries provided tastings, and experts addressed topics such as destination governance, sustainability, and the integration of wine, gastronomy, and tourism. Economist Pablo Singerman emphasized that the industry must shift from selling bottles to offering high-quality services and storytelling to attract a diversifying demographic, including younger consumers.
In addition to the congress, the Entre Ríos Mixed Tourism Entity (EMTURER) announced that the summer tourism season will launch in Federación on November 27. The entity is also implementing a provincial Tourism Economic Observatory to generate reliable statistics on the sector's economic impact.
