Entre Ríos tourism development initiatives

Officials in Entre Ríos are implementing various strategies to promote regional tourism and conservation. Governor Rogelio Frigerio and National Secretary of Tourism, Environment, and Sports Daniel Scioli met at El Palmar National Park to discuss integrating nature conservation with outdoor sports and environmental education. Frigerio noted that approximately 1.5 million hectares, or 20 percent of Entre Ríos, are dedicated to conservation, emphasizing the potential of linking natural landscapes with historical sites like Palacio San José to boost regional tourism.

Further developments include the Entre Ríos Mixed Tourism Entity (Emturer) preparing for the official summer season launch in Federación on November 27. To support these efforts, the province is establishing the Entre Ríos Tourism Economic Observatory (Oeter) to collect economic statistics and is developing ‘pet friendly’ promotional strategies.

Additionally, the city of Paraná hosted the VI National Wine Tourism Conference and the First Regional Congress of Viticulture, Wine Tourism, and Gastronomy. The event brought together 600 participants from 11 provinces to discuss the growth of emerging viticultural regions. During the summit, experts addressed governance and sustainability, while economist Pablo Singerman emphasized that the industry must shift from “selling bottles” to offering high-quality services and storytelling to attract a diversifying demographic.
