Entre Ríos Province Announces Final Call for 41st Theatre Encounter Submissions

The Secretariat of Culture of Entre Ríos, together with the municipalities of Galarza and Gualeguay and the CONTIER network, has opened the last round of applications for the 41st Encuentro Entrerriano de Teatro. The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, 10 July. Eligible participants are theatre companies and groups from across the province whose productions have already premiered and have not taken part in previous editions.

The festival will run from 21 to 23 August in the towns of Galarza and Gualeguay. A jury of three recognised scenographers will select twelve works based on several criteria: a maximum of three entries may come from the host cities, at least two must be aimed at children, and at least one work must represent each of the five CONTIER regions. Selected groups will receive an economic stimulus of 750,000 Argentine pesos for their performance. The list of chosen works will be announced on 4 August.
