Entre Ríos regularizes 124,000 hectares of provincial fiscal lands

The Government of Entre Ríos has regularized 124,000 hectares of provincial fiscal lands, representing approximately 65 percent of the province's total state-owned land. Most of the affected areas are located in the Delta region, specifically within the Gualeguay and Victoria departments.

Through the Land Occupation Regularization Program, the administration has transitioned lands that were previously occupied irregularly or clandestinely into a formal system of onerous land-use permits. This initiative, driven by Governor Rogelio Frigerio, aims to generate new revenue for the province and ensure more transparent management of public assets.

The program is managed by the recently created Agency for the Administration of Provincial Assets (Aabiper). Eduardo Asueta, president of Aabiper, noted that the agency plans to conduct a detailed survey of approximately 200 lots to determine their productive characteristics and rental value, addressing previous issues where permit costs did not reflect the true economic potential of the land.
