Entrepreneurship programs launched for students in Japan
Various educational initiatives aimed at fostering entrepreneurship are being conducted across Japan.
At Kurume National College of Technology, KiQ Robotics CEO Takashi Takimoto delivered a lecture to third-year students. The session, supported by the START-K startup support program for youth in Kurume, focused on Takimoto’s journey from a technical college graduate to a startup founder. He shared insights on applying business skills in real-world settings, including involvement in satellite launches.
In Sendai, EO North Japan will host the NExTeens program on November 7. The initiative includes a student entrepreneurship bootcamp at enspace and an educational workshop for teachers at Tokiwagi Gakuen High School. The NExTeens program is designed to help middle and high school students in the Tohoku region connect with entrepreneurs to turn personal interests and local challenges into actionable business ideas.
